The Emotional Freedom Coach

Dr. Lorna Minewiser has coached people all her life, as a parent, a teacher, a Realtor, a community college counselor, and as a Life Coach.  She has BA in Spanish, an MA in Counseling Psychology from Vermont College and a PhD in Psychology from Saybrook Graduate School.

She began her MA in her 40s after a 20- year educational hiatus, never anticipating that she would go on to obtain her PhD in her 50s.  She rediscovered a love for learning that keeps her exploring new ideas.  Currently enrolled in Coachville's Graduate School of coaching, she is taking teleclasses in a variety of new areas.  

She has taught high school, and community college classes and adult education workshops.  Many of the subjects that she has taught in the classroom are being converted to teleclasses. Lorna and her husband Jim have been happily married for almost 40 years. They have  three terrific children and one delightful granddaughter.  Besides just being in each other's company they enjoy traveling, learning, swimming and flying in Jim's Ultra light airplane.

At a self-esteem conference almost 15 years ago, Lorna was introduced to Energy psychology techniques that helped her overcome her lifelong fear of heights and flying.  These techniques are offered through teleclasses and personal coaching.

Comprehensive Energy Psychology-Diplomate certification and training classes

Lorna recently receved Diplomate-certification from the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP). Dr. Pat Yoder, founder of the Energy Psychology Education Group of SE Michigan, is the only other Detroit area therapist who has achieved this certification.  Pat's website is www.A4HL.com.   Dr. Yoder and Lorna will be offering energy psychology classes for people interested in certification.
